NIP is in-network with:

• Aetna

• Carelon (including Emblem Health, GHI, HIP)

• HealthFirst

• NY State Empire

Before setting up an appointment, we will verify your specific insurance benefits and discuss them with you. 

All patients, including those who are in-network, are responsible for their deductible if they have one. Once the deductible is met, in-network patients are then responsible for their co-pay or co-insurance and cannot opt to self-pay. Out-of-network patients can either work with us to have their insurance billed or can request to opt-out and self-pay.

We can also accept Medicare Advantage Managed Care Plans though we are unfortunately not permitted to accept Original Medicare, Medicaid, or Medicaid Managed Care Plans.

Patients who are not covered by insurance can pay out of pocket. Our income-based fees are determined by a combination of adjusted income and financial circumstances.
